Cuddle Criminal Background Screening Disclosure
Effective Date: May 8, 2026
1. Introduction, Scope, and Important Safety Notice
1.1 Purpose of This Disclosure
This Criminal Background Screening Disclosure (“Disclosure”) explains important limits that apply to criminal background screening, sex-offender-registry screening, public-record review, identity-document review, government-ID review, badges, account indicators, verification reviews, screening-related notices, fraud-prevention tools, payment-risk tools, moderation tools, reporting tools, and safety tools in connection with Cuddle.
Cuddle is an 18+ online dating and social connection service for eligible adults located in the United States. Cuddle may provide safety-related information, screening-related notices, reporting tools, blocking tools, moderation tools, fraud-prevention tools, payment-risk tools, verification reviews where used, and account indicators where offered. These tools may help Cuddle operate the Service, review reports, manage risk, and enforce rules, but they have important limits.
1.2 Important Safety Notice
CUDDLE DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS OR SEX-OFFENDER-REGISTRY CHECKS ON ALL USERS.
Unless Cuddle expressly states otherwise for a specific feature, program, state, or user category, Cuddle does not conduct criminal background checks, sex-offender-registry checks, comprehensive identity verification, relationship-status checks, marital-status checks, intention checks, employment checks, financial checks, health checks, immigration checks, social-media checks, or safety clearances on every user.
A profile, message, match, like, photo, video, badge, account indicator, verification review, screening result, Paid Feature, read receipt, support response, moderation action, fraud-prevention tool, payment-risk tool, safety tool, or report response does not guarantee another user’s identity, age, location, background, criminal history, sex-offender status, relationship status, intentions, truthfulness, safety, compatibility, availability, or future conduct.
1.3 Scope
This Disclosure applies to Cuddle accounts, profiles, messages, discovery features, matching or connection features, Paid Features, reports, support requests, appeals, safety reviews, moderation reviews, fraud-prevention reviews, payment-risk reviews, verification reviews where used, screening-related notices, badges, account indicators, and related Service activity.
This Disclosure also applies to any public-record review, criminal-history review, sex-offender-registry review, identity-document review, government-ID review, safety-tool notice, account indicator, badge, or similar feature that Cuddle may offer, require, reference, or make available for a specific program, state, product disclosure, or legal requirement.
1.4 Safety Tools Have Limits
Screening-related information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unavailable, delayed, limited by law, dependent on user-provided information, dependent on available records, or affected by name changes, aliases, data-entry differences, jurisdictional limits, reporting delays, expungements, record-sealing rules, incomplete databases, and other limitations.
A user may provide false, incomplete, altered, outdated, or misleading information. A user may evade, attempt to evade, or circumvent screening, verification, moderation, safety, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, or enforcement tools.
You should not rely on Cuddle, any screening-related notice, badge, account indicator, verification review, fraud-prevention tool, payment-risk tool, moderation action, or safety tool as a substitute for your own judgment, safety practices, reporting tools, blocking tools, emergency services, or professional assistance.
1.5 Emergency Limits and Relationship to Other Terms
Cuddle support channels, reporting tools, safety tools, moderation tools, emails, appeals, billing channels, privacy channels, legal channels, and other Service channels are not emergency-response channels and may not be monitored in real time. If you are in immediate danger, believe another person is in immediate danger, or need emergency assistance, contact local emergency services immediately.
This Disclosure should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Safety Tips / Dating Safety Notice, Community Guidelines, Prohibited Services, Payments & Commerce Policy, Purchase, Billing, Cancellation & Refund Terms, Paid Features Terms, State-Specific Terms & Cancellation Notices, Contact / Legal Notices, product disclosures, and applicable law.
Nothing in this Disclosure limits any non-waivable privacy, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
2. No Comprehensive Background Checks, Registry Checks, or Continuous Monitoring
2.1 No Screening of All Users
CUDDLE DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS OR SEX-OFFENDER-REGISTRY CHECKS ON ALL USERS.
Unless Cuddle expressly states otherwise for a specific feature, program, state, user category, product disclosure, or legal requirement, Cuddle does not conduct criminal background checks, sex-offender-registry checks, comprehensive identity verification, relationship-status checks, marital-status checks, intention checks, employment checks, financial checks, health checks, immigration checks, social-media checks, or safety clearances on every user.
Not every user is subject to every review, check, notice, badge, account indicator, fraud-prevention review, payment-risk review, moderation review, safety review, identity-document review, government-ID review, or public-record review.
2.2 No Continuous Monitoring
Cuddle does not continuously monitor every user’s criminal history, sex-offender-registry status, court records, arrest records, warrants, protective orders, relationship status, marital status, employment status, financial status, health status, immigration status, social-media activity, location, identity, intentions, safety, or conduct.
A user’s circumstances may change after account creation, after a match, after a message, after a report, after a review, after a screening-related notice, after a badge or account indicator is displayed, after a Paid Feature is purchased or used, or after any other Service activity.
A past review, screening result, badge, account indicator, report response, support response, moderation action, or safety-tool result should not be treated as a current, complete, or continuing safety clearance.
2.3 Public-Record and Screening-Related Limits
Any criminal-history review, sex-offender-registry review, public-record review, screening-related notice, badge, account indicator, or similar tool that Cuddle may offer, require, reference, or make available may be limited.
Limitations may arise from incomplete records, outdated records, unavailable records, jurisdictional limits, reporting delays, record-sealing rules, expungements, name changes, aliases, spelling differences, date-of-birth differences, data-entry errors, incomplete databases, unavailable identifiers, matching uncertainty, user-provided information, lawful-source limits, technical limits, legal restrictions, and other factors.
A screening-related process may miss relevant information, include incorrect information, produce false positives, produce false negatives, be delayed, be unavailable, or be difficult to match to the correct person.
2.4 No Safety Clearance or Identity Guarantee
No absence of a record, absence of a report, completed review, screening-related notice, badge, account indicator, verification review, identity-document review, government-ID review, fraud-prevention review, payment-risk review, moderation review, support response, or safety-tool result guarantees that a user is safe, truthful, eligible, compatible, available, law-abiding, free of criminal history, free of sex-offender-registry history, or appropriate to meet.
No such process guarantees a user’s identity, age, location, relationship status, marital status, intentions, employment, financial condition, health, immigration status, social-media history, account ownership, payment authority, background, or future conduct.
2.5 User Responsibility
You remain responsible for your own judgment, privacy choices, safety practices, communications, off-Service interactions, and decisions to meet or continue interacting with another user.
Use available blocking, reporting, privacy, account-security, and support tools. Read the Safety Tips / Dating Safety Notice and Community Guidelines. Be cautious if a user pressures you, asks for secrecy, asks for money or value, requests sensitive information, sends suspicious links, encourages off-Service payment, or discourages reporting.
If you are in immediate danger, believe another person is in immediate danger, or need emergency assistance, contact local emergency services immediately. Cuddle channels are not emergency-response channels and may not be monitored in real time.
2.6 Non-Waivable Rights and No Prohibited Use
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable privacy, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
No absence of screening, screening-related notice, badge, account indicator, review result, safety tool, support response, moderation action, fraud-prevention process, payment-risk process, report response, or legal process authorizes prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity.
3. Limited Reviews, Public-Record Review, Reports, and Safety Processes
3.1 Limited Reviews Where Used
Cuddle may use limited review processes to help operate the Service, review reports, support safety, manage fraud risk, manage payment risk, moderate content, enforce terms, comply with law, and protect users and the Service.
These reviews may include account review, profile review, message review, User Content review, report review, appeal review, moderation review, fraud-prevention review, payment-risk review, account-integrity review, support review, identity-document review, government-ID review, public-record review where lawfully used, and other limited safety or compliance processes.
A limited review is not a comprehensive background check, continuous monitoring program, safety clearance, identity guarantee, or guarantee that a user is safe, truthful, eligible, compatible, available, or appropriate to meet.
3.2 Public-Record Review Where Lawfully Used
Cuddle may review public records, publicly available information, lawful-source information, screening-related information, or information from reports or safety processes where Cuddle reasonably determines that doing so is appropriate for a specific safety, legal, moderation, enforcement, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, account-integrity, or compliance purpose.
Public-record review may be limited by record availability, jurisdiction, record quality, user-provided information, identifiers available to Cuddle, name changes, aliases, spelling differences, date-of-birth differences, data-entry errors, expungements, sealing rules, reporting delays, matching uncertainty, and legal restrictions.
Cuddle does not promise that any public-record review will identify all relevant information, identify the correct person in every case, be current, be complete, or be available for every user, state, request, report, or safety concern.
3.3 User Reports and Safety Signals
Cuddle may consider reports from users, support communications, appeals, screenshots where lawfully submitted, message references, profile information, account history, payment-risk signals, fraud-prevention signals, device information, IP-address information, moderation history, enforcement history, external links, payment references, and other information reasonably available to Cuddle.
Reports may help Cuddle identify potential harassment, threats, scams, impersonation, payment requests, external payment signals, prohibited services, prohibited payments, sexual pressure, minor-safety concerns, exploitation, account takeover, chargeback abuse, or other safety or integrity concerns.
Submitting a report does not guarantee that Cuddle will conduct a background check, registry check, public-record review, identity review, account action, content removal, refund, payment reversal, evidence preservation, response time, or particular outcome.
3.4 Review Methods and Operational Tools
Cuddle may use human review, automated review, machine-assisted tools, service-provider tools, fraud-prevention tools, payment-risk tools, moderation tools, account-linking analysis, device checks, session checks, velocity limits, purchase limits, payment-method blocks, and related operational records.
These tools may help detect or respond to fake accounts, impersonation, scams, bots, account farms, prohibited payments, account takeover, age or location evasion, verification evasion, re-registration evasion, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, and other misuse.
These tools may be limited, delayed, incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, dependent on available information, or circumvented.
3.5 Possible Actions After Review
If Cuddle reasonably believes that a user, account, profile, message, report, payment method, transaction, Paid Feature, or off-Service conduct connected to Cuddle creates safety, legal, fraud, payment-risk, moderation, enforcement, or Service-integrity concerns, Cuddle may take action permitted by applicable terms and law.
Actions may include content removal, visibility limits, messaging limits, purchase restrictions, payment-method blocks, Paid Feature restriction or revocation, verification requests, record preservation, account restrictions, suspension, termination, re-registration blocks, report responses, payment-dispute responses, cooperation with service providers, payment participants, banks, card networks, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other lawful recipients, and other appropriate action.
An action or non-action after review does not guarantee safety, eligibility, identity, criminal-history status, sex-offender-registry status, truthfulness, compatibility, or future conduct.
3.6 Non-Waivable Rights and No Prohibited Use
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable privacy, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
No limited review, public-record review, report response, safety process, moderation action, fraud-prevention process, payment-risk process, support response, service-provider relationship, operational-vendor relationship, payment-participant relationship, or legal process authorizes prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity.
4. Verification, Identity-Document Review, Government-ID Review, and No Biometric Verification
4.1 Overview
Cuddle may use limited verification or review processes to help confirm eligibility, account ownership, age, supported-area location, payment authority, billing information, request validity, safety, fraud risk, payment risk, account integrity, legal compliance, privacy compliance, moderation, or enforcement.
These processes may include email or phone verification, age confirmation, account-history review, device review, IP-address review, transaction review, support-based account-ownership review, internal manual non-liveness photo or selfie review, identity-document review, government-ID review, and other non-biometric review information where reasonably necessary.
Not every user is subject to every review. A completed review does not guarantee identity, age, location, background, criminal-history status, sex-offender-registry status, relationship status, intentions, truthfulness, safety, compatibility, eligibility, payment authority, account ownership, or future conduct.
4.2 Internal Manual Non-Liveness Photo or Selfie Review
Cuddle may use internal, manual, non-liveness photo or selfie review for limited verification, safety, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, account-integrity, legal, privacy, refund, statutory-cancellation, dispute, moderation, or enforcement purposes.
This review may help Cuddle compare information available in an account, report, request, support matter, purchase matter, appeal, or safety process. It may also help Cuddle detect or respond to fake accounts, impersonation, scams, bots, account farms, age or location evasion, verification evasion, re-registration evasion, payment abuse, account takeover, or prohibited activity.
Photo or selfie review may be limited, delayed, incomplete, unavailable, inaccurate, dependent on available information, or circumvented. It is not a safety clearance or a guarantee of identity.
4.3 Identity-Document and Government-ID Review
Where reasonably necessary, Cuddle may request or review identity-document or government-ID information for a specific verification, safety, legal, privacy, refund, statutory-cancellation, account-recovery, dispute, Service-integrity, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, moderation, or enforcement process.
Identity-document or government-ID review may help Cuddle evaluate age, account ownership, requester authority, account recovery, residency, state of residence, payment authority, billing information, fraud risk, payment risk, safety risk, legal compliance, representative authority, or request validity.
Cuddle will request only information reasonably necessary for the process. Review may be limited by document quality, document availability, user-provided information, record availability, legal limits, technical limits, matching uncertainty, or incomplete information.
4.4 No External ID Vendor, Liveness, Facial Recognition, or Biometric Verification
Cuddle does not currently use a third-party identity-verification vendor, government-ID verification vendor, biometric verification provider, liveness provider, facial-recognition provider, or face-matching provider.
Cuddle does not conduct liveness checks, facial-feature analysis, facial recognition, facial-geometry analysis, face-template creation, faceprint creation, fingerprint verification, voiceprint verification, biometric-identifier processing, biometric-template processing, or biometric verification.
Cuddle does not use photo, selfie, identity-document, or government-ID materials to create biometric templates, perform facial recognition, conduct liveness checks, personalize prices, rank users, match users, advertise, sell or share personal information, or provide financial products or services.
4.5 Secure Upload and Sensitive-Information Limits
Do not send full payment card numbers, card security codes, passwords, authentication codes, full bank credentials, identity-document images, government identification documents, liveness data, face templates, faceprints, facial-geometry data, fingerprints, voiceprints, biometric identifiers, biometric templates, private keys, wallet credentials, intimate content, information about minors, medical records, criminal-history records, court records, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary email, ordinary messages, profile fields, reports, appeals, support channels, or mail.
When Cuddle needs identity-document, government-ID, criminal-history, court-record, representative-authority, safety, legal, privacy, refund, statutory-cancellation, dispute, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, moderation, or enforcement information for a specific process, Cuddle will provide a secure upload flow or specific instructions for that process.
4.6 Relationship to Privacy, Records, and Rights
The Privacy Policy controls how Cuddle collects, uses, discloses, retains, protects, deletes, and otherwise processes personal information submitted or generated through verification, identity-document review, government-ID review, photo or selfie review, safety review, fraud-prevention review, payment-risk review, moderation, or enforcement.
Cuddle may retain related records as described in the Privacy Policy and permitted by law.
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable privacy, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
No verification process, review result, secure-upload process, support response, service-provider relationship, operational-vendor relationship, or legal process authorizes prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity.
5. Badges, Account Indicators, Screening Results, and Safety Tool Limits
5.1 Overview
Cuddle may display or use badges, account indicators, labels, notices, prompts, warnings, review statuses, safety-tool results, screening-related notices, or similar signals where offered, required, tested, or described in a specific feature, program, state, product disclosure, or legal requirement.
These signals may help users understand limited information available to Cuddle at a particular time. They do not replace your judgment, safety practices, reporting tools, blocking tools, emergency services, professional assistance, or the Safety Tips / Dating Safety Notice.
5.2 Badges and Account Indicators Are Limited
A badge, account indicator, label, notice, or review status may reflect only the specific process, information, timing, and criteria associated with that feature.
It may be based on user-provided information, account information, identity-document or government-ID review where used, public-record review where lawfully used, report history, moderation status, fraud-prevention signals, payment-risk signals, technical signals, or other limited information reasonably available to Cuddle.
A badge or account indicator may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, removed, changed, revoked, hidden, limited by law, affected by technical issues, or dependent on information that later changes.
The absence of a badge or indicator does not necessarily mean a user is unsafe, ineligible, unreviewed, or suspicious. The presence of a badge or indicator does not mean a user is safe, truthful, compatible, available, or appropriate to meet.
5.3 Screening Results Are Not Complete or Continuous
A screening result, registry result, public-record result, review result, or related notice may be limited to the information available at the time of review and the specific sources, identifiers, matching methods, laws, and criteria used.
Cuddle does not continuously monitor every user’s criminal history, sex-offender-registry status, court records, identity, location, relationship status, conduct, or safety.
A later change, new record, missing record, sealed record, expunged record, data-entry issue, alias, name change, jurisdictional limit, reporting delay, or matching uncertainty may affect whether information is found, linked to the correct person, or shown accurately.
5.4 Safety Tools Are Not Guarantees
Reporting tools, blocking tools, moderation tools, fraud-prevention tools, payment-risk tools, account-integrity tools, warnings, prompts, labels, and other safety features may help Cuddle detect or respond to risk, but they cannot identify every unsafe user, false statement, scam, payment request, prohibited service, prohibited payment, external transfer, or harmful interaction.
No safety tool guarantees identity, age, location, background, criminal-history status, sex-offender-registry status, truthfulness, intentions, compatibility, availability, payment authority, account ownership, or future conduct.
5.5 No Misuse of Badges, Indicators, or Safety Signals
You may not misrepresent, forge, alter, sell, rent, transfer, trade, screenshot, market, monetize, or misuse any badge, account indicator, screening-related notice, review result, safety signal, or verification status.
You may not use a badge, indicator, review result, safety notice, or support response to pressure another user, imply a guarantee, request money or value, advertise services, claim official approval, evade rules, or make prohibited conduct appear permitted.
5.6 Changes, Removal, and Review
Cuddle may add, modify, remove, revoke, hide, limit, or discontinue badges, account indicators, review statuses, screening-related notices, safety tools, or related disclosures where permitted by law.
Cuddle may also take account, content, feature, purchase, payment-method, moderation, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, or enforcement action if a badge, indicator, review process, report, or safety signal appears to involve misuse, evasion, fraud, prohibited services, prohibited payments, or other risk.
Cuddle is not required to disclose confidential safety logic, fraud-prevention logic, payment-risk logic, investigation details, internal records, or provider information where disclosure could compromise safety, privacy, security, legal compliance, or Service integrity.
5.7 Non-Waivable Rights and No Prohibited Use
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable privacy, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
No badge, account indicator, screening result, review result, safety tool, support response, moderation action, fraud-prevention process, payment-risk process, service-provider relationship, operational-vendor relationship, or legal process authorizes prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity.
6. User Responsibility, Reporting, Emergency Limits, and Off-Service Risks
6.1 User Responsibility
You remain responsible for your own judgment, privacy choices, safety practices, communications, off-Service interactions, and decisions to trust, contact, meet, travel with, or continue interacting with another user.
Do not rely on Cuddle, a profile, message, match, like, badge, account indicator, verification review, screening-related notice, public-record review, Paid Feature, support response, moderation action, fraud-prevention tool, payment-risk tool, reporting tool, blocking tool, or safety tool as proof that another user is safe, truthful, eligible, compatible, available, or appropriate to meet.
Use caution before sharing personal information, moving to another platform, sending photos or intimate content, making travel plans, meeting in person, or continuing an interaction that feels unsafe, coercive, deceptive, payment-related, sexually exploitative, commercially exploitative, or inconsistent with Cuddle’s rules.
6.2 Use Safety Tools and Safety Practices
Use available reporting, blocking, muting, unmatching, privacy, account-security, and support tools when you feel unsafe, pressured, deceived, harassed, exploited, or asked for money or value.
Read and follow the Safety Tips / Dating Safety Notice and Community Guidelines.
Do not send money, gift cards, prepaid cards, cryptocurrency, wallet transfers, bank transfers, payment-app transfers, payment credentials, account credentials, authentication codes, verification codes, private keys, wallet credentials, identity-document images, government identification documents, intimate content, or other sensitive information to another user.
6.3 Reporting Safety or Screening Concerns
If you believe a user, profile, message, badge, account indicator, screening-related notice, verification review, safety tool, or off-Service conduct connected to Cuddle may create a safety, fraud, payment-risk, minor-safety, exploitation, harassment, impersonation, prohibited-service, prohibited-payment, or legal concern, report it through the Service where available or contact safety@cuddle-global.com.
Reports should be truthful, relevant, and reasonably specific. Where lawful and safe, include account identifiers, message references, screenshots, links, dates, payment requests, external platform references, or other information that helps Cuddle review the concern.
Do not put yourself at risk to collect evidence or continue communicating with an unsafe user merely to gather more information.
6.4 Emergency Limits
Cuddle support channels, reporting tools, safety tools, moderation tools, emails, appeals, billing channels, privacy channels, legal channels, and other Service channels are not emergency-response channels and may not be monitored in real time.
If you are in immediate danger, believe another person is in immediate danger, or need emergency assistance, contact local emergency services immediately.
6.5 Off-Service and In-Person Risks
Cuddle may have limited or no ability to review, investigate, preserve, remove, reverse, recover, or support conduct, communications, payments, transfers, meetings, travel, lodging, events, or interactions that occur outside Cuddle.
Moving a conversation off Cuddle or meeting in person does not make prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity permitted.
6.6 Non-Waivable Rights
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable privacy, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
7. Privacy, Sensitive Information, Service Providers, Consumer Reports, and Records
7.1 Privacy Policy Controls Personal-Information Processing
The Privacy Policy controls how Cuddle collects, uses, discloses, retains, protects, deletes, and otherwise processes personal information connected to screening, verification, identity-document review, government-ID review, public-record review, safety review, fraud-prevention review, payment-risk review, moderation, enforcement, reports, appeals, support, and legal compliance.
This Disclosure summarizes certain privacy, sensitive-information, service-provider, consumer-report, and recordkeeping issues related to screening and safety processes. It does not replace the Privacy Policy, State-Specific Terms & Cancellation Notices, Contact / Legal Notices, or any non-waivable privacy, consumer-reporting, safety, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, chargeback, court-access, or consumer-protection right.
7.2 Sensitive Information and Secure Upload Limits
Do not send full payment card numbers, card security codes, passwords, authentication codes, full bank credentials, identity-document images, government identification documents, liveness data, face templates, faceprints, facial-geometry data, fingerprints, voiceprints, biometric identifiers, biometric templates, private keys, wallet credentials, intimate content, information about minors, medical records, criminal-history records, court records, or other highly sensitive information by ordinary email, ordinary messages, profile fields, reports, appeals, support channels, or mail.
When Cuddle needs identity-document, government-ID, criminal-history, court-record, representative-authority, safety, legal, privacy, refund, statutory-cancellation, dispute, fraud-prevention, payment-risk, moderation, or enforcement information for a specific process, Cuddle will provide a secure upload flow or specific instructions for that process.
Do not use a user-provided link, QR code, payment handle, wallet address, external page, social-media profile, or third-party listing to upload identity documents, government identification documents, payment information, screening information, or other sensitive information.
7.3 Service Providers and Operational Vendors
Cuddle may use service providers and operational vendors to help host, secure, store, route, transmit, log, support, analyze, preserve, or operate Cuddle-managed systems used for reports, appeals, support, moderation, safety review, fraud prevention, payment-risk management, public-record review where lawfully used, identity-document review, government-ID review, secure upload, legal compliance, and enforcement.
Operational service providers are not treated as third-party identity-verification vendors, government-ID verification vendors, biometric verification providers, liveness providers, facial-recognition providers, or face-matching providers merely because they help Cuddle operate Cuddle-managed systems.
Cuddle does not currently use a third-party identity-verification vendor, government-ID verification vendor, biometric verification provider, liveness provider, facial-recognition provider, or face-matching provider. Cuddle does not conduct liveness checks, facial-feature analysis, facial recognition, facial-geometry analysis, face-template creation, faceprint creation, fingerprint verification, voiceprint verification, biometric-identifier processing, biometric-template processing, or biometric verification.
7.4 Consumer Reports and Required Notices Where Applicable
Cuddle does not provide consumer reports to users and does not allow users to run background checks, employment checks, housing checks, credit checks, insurance checks, relationship-status checks, or similar screening on other users through Cuddle.
If Cuddle uses a consumer report, investigative consumer report, public-record report, registry report, or similar report for a purpose subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, a similar state consumer-reporting law, or another applicable law, Cuddle will provide any required notice, disclosure, authorization process, summary of rights, copy, adverse-action notice, dispute process, or other legally required information to the extent required by that law.
A consumer-reporting notice, authorization, report, badge, account indicator, screening-related notice, or adverse-action process does not guarantee that a user is safe, truthful, eligible, compatible, available, free of criminal history, free of sex-offender-registry history, or appropriate to meet.
7.5 Records, Retention, and Disclosure
Cuddle may create, use, disclose, preserve, and retain records related to reports, screening-related notices, public-record review, identity-document review, government-ID review, photo or selfie review, safety review, moderation, appeals, fraud prevention, payment-risk management, enforcement, consumer-reporting processes where applicable, legal compliance, audits, disputes, and support.
These records may be retained where reasonably necessary to protect users, minors, Cuddle, payment participants, service providers, and the Service; prevent fraud; manage payment risk; investigate reports; enforce terms; respond to disputes; preserve evidence; comply with law; and protect legal rights.
Cuddle may disclose relevant records to service providers, payment participants, banks, card networks, professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, emergency authorities, or other lawful recipients where permitted or required by the Privacy Policy, applicable terms, or law.
7.6 Rights, Requests, and Corrections
You may have privacy, access, correction, deletion, consent, appeal, consumer-reporting, dispute, or other rights under applicable law.
Requests should be submitted through the channel specified in the Privacy Policy, Contact / Legal Notices, State-Specific Terms & Cancellation Notices, or the notice provided for the specific process. Cuddle may need to verify your account, identity, residence, authority, or request details before responding.
Submitting a correction, deletion, dispute, appeal, or rights request does not guarantee account reinstatement, content restoration, badge removal, badge restoration, Paid Feature restoration, refund, payment reversal, screening change, report removal, or any specific result, except where required by applicable law.
7.7 Non-Waivable Rights and No Prohibited Use
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable privacy, consumer-reporting, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
No privacy process, secure-upload process, service-provider relationship, operational-vendor relationship, consumer-report process, public-record review, screening-related notice, record, support response, moderation action, fraud-prevention process, payment-risk process, or legal process authorizes prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity.
8. State-Specific Notices, Contact, Relationship to Other Terms, Changes, and Non-Waivable Rights
8.1 State-Specific Notices
Certain United States laws may require dating-service, social-referral-service, background-screening, sex-offender-registry, safety, fraud, privacy, consumer-reporting, cancellation, refund, payment, or related notices.
Where a state-specific notice applies, Cuddle will provide the notice, disclosure, process, or right required by applicable law, the State-Specific Terms & Cancellation Notices, this Disclosure, product disclosures, or another applicable term.
A state-specific notice does not mean that Cuddle conducts criminal background checks, sex-offender-registry checks, comprehensive identity verification, continuous monitoring, or safety clearances on all users.
A state-specific notice also does not guarantee another user’s identity, age, location, background, criminal-history status, sex-offender-registry status, relationship status, intentions, truthfulness, safety, compatibility, availability, or future conduct.
8.2 Contact Channels

8.3 Relationship to Other Terms
This Disclosure should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Safety Tips / Dating Safety Notice, Community Guidelines, Prohibited Services, Payments & Commerce Policy, Purchase, Billing, Cancellation & Refund Terms, Paid Features Terms, State-Specific Terms & Cancellation Notices, Contact / Legal Notices, product disclosures, and applicable law.
The Privacy Policy controls personal-information processing. The Safety Tips / Dating Safety Notice provides practical dating safety guidance. The Community Guidelines control user-facing behavior rules. The Prohibited Services, Payments & Commerce Policy controls prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, and financial products or services.
The Purchase Terms control checkout, billing, refunds, statutory cancellations, chargebacks, payment disputes, and payment-risk controls. The Paid Features Terms control Paid Feature functionality, access, limits, expiration, availability, no cash value, non-transferability, promotional access, complimentary access, product tests, and feature-specific restrictions.
If another Cuddle term, state-specific notice, product disclosure, consumer-reporting notice, checkout disclosure, purchase-specific term, payment-participant rule, or applicable law provides a more specific or greater non-waivable right, that term, notice, disclosure, rule, or law controls to the extent required.
8.4 Changes to This Disclosure
Cuddle may update this Disclosure from time to time and will provide notice where required by law.
Unless law requires otherwise, updates apply prospectively after they become effective. An update does not eliminate a non-waivable right that applied before the update, create a safety guarantee, create a screening guarantee, authorize prohibited activity, or change a completed purchase except where legally permitted.
8.5 Non-Waivable Rights and No Prohibited Use
Nothing in this Disclosure limits any non-waivable privacy, consumer-reporting, safety, reporting, payment, refund, statutory-cancellation, billing-error, unauthorized-transaction, chargeback, consumer-protection, dating-service, social-referral-service, accessibility, anti-discrimination, public-injunctive-relief, court-access, or other right under applicable law.
No state-specific notice, contact channel, support response, report response, screening-related notice, badge, account indicator, verification review, safety tool, moderation action, fraud-prevention process, payment-risk process, secure-upload process, service-provider relationship, operational-vendor relationship, payment-participant relationship, consumer-report process, product disclosure, or legal process authorizes prohibited services, prohibited payments, external payment requests, user-to-user transfers of value, adult content monetization, sexual services, escort services, compensated dating, sugar arrangements, payment facilitation, marketplace activity, stored value, wallets, cryptocurrency, financial products or services, abuse, exploitation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity.
